The Edel Caregiver Institute is a local, personalized resource to support you, the caregiver, as you support your loved one. Open to the community, they assist in resource information, caregiver education, and certified dementia education and emotional support. The Alzheimer’s Association provides vital resources and support for families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. They offer a variety of services, including a 24/7 helpline, educational materials, and local support groups. Whether you are seeking guidance on caregiving, living with dementia, or simply need someone to talk to, they are here to help. Dementia Care Specialist with the Coastal Regional Commission of Georgia’s Area Agency on Aging, Kay McCurdy, supports people living with dementia, and their care partners, so that they can enjoy the highest quality of life. The three pillars of the program are: Education, Outreach and Support. If you are a person living with dementia or a care partner of a person living with dementia, please feel free to reach out to Kay for resources, support or information about services in Coastal Georgia,
