Hope Haven is honored to be among 15 local organizations awarded a share of $60,000 in grants from the Garden Club of Savannah.
Three Savannah VOICE Festival artists brought the gift of live music last week to the members of Hope Haven, a social club for people in the early to mid-stages of dementia.
Voyage Savannah interviews Director Cathy Baxter as she shares how Hope Haven is making a meaningful difference for families in our community. “For four fun-filled hours, we enjoy carefully designed activities that spark creativity, movement and companionship.”
Baxter is committed to serving both individuals with dementia and their caregivers, recognizing that support must extend to the entire family.

In August of 2024, we hosted Robin Dill who has guided the formation of 30 dementia respite care ministries. The attendance and response from the community was exciting. We encourage you to watch her presentation to learn about the day respite program we will open at St. John's Church.
